Once we receive your order we will send you a confirmation that your order has been received. If you do not receive a confirmation within 7 days please contact us. PricesOur prices are shown in £ Sterling on our website and include VAT at 17.5% We try to ensure that the prices on our website are accurate but errors may occur. If we discover an error in pricing of the goods in your order we will inform you as soon as possible using the contact details you supply us and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to reach you we will treat the order as cancelled. Delivery ChargesBelow is a guide to our furniture delivery charges. These may be subject to change at our discretion. All of our furniture is delivered by a two man team and we offer you the option to choose the level of service you would like. All prices are per delivery and not per item.
Please appreciate that these charges do not cover the real cost of the delivery and is a cost that we share. These prices are for mainland UK and do not include Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight or Channel Islands, delivery costs by quotation. OverseasUnfortunately we are unable to offer our furniture to customers outside of mainland UK. We can however arrange to deliver to your dedicated Onward Shipper in the UK. All responsibility for onward delivery would then be yours; that would include any transport and insurance costs. We would not accept any responsibility for loss or damage once we had delivered to the chosen onward shipping company. PaymentsWe require a 50% deposit on placement of order, with the balance due just prior to delivery. Please note that delivery cannot be arranged until all balances are paid in full (cheques will require a full 10 working days to clear on receipt). Payment can be made by Credit / Debit card or Cheques in £ Sterling. We accept Visa/MasterCard/Switch/Solo/Delta. Cheques should be crossed and made payable to ‘Grand Illusions’ Delivery PeriodAs each item of furniture is painted by hand to order we
will require 6-8 weeks to complete your order, unpainted items will be
2-4 weeks. Access ............ Very very important!We cannot stress enough the importance of checking the access and approaches for delivery of your furniture. Please inform us when placing your order if the delivery is to anywhere other than the ground floor and if so there may be added delivery costs. If the delivery company encounters difficulties on sight without prior notice, this could delay your delivery and if additional visits, personnel or specialists machinery are required, this could lead to additional costs being incurred – we do reserve the rights to pass on these additional costs to you. Furniture Cancellations & RefundsAs all furniture is made-to-order, once delivery has been made, refunds or exchanges can only be made if the piece is deemed to be faulty. We can only handle and concur your claims, once we receive the piece back. Failure to deliver by the specified time, is not permissible grounds for cancellation without penalty. Our cancellation penalty is 25% of the total price quoted on your order confirmation/invoice. SamplesSamples of our paint colours and chair fabrics are available, please call 017 3082 1052 or use order form on website to order paint samples. Care of your furnitureThe age of the coaster is not dead! Although we finish all furniture with a flat acrylic varnish this is not heat resistant and could mark if hot cups and dishes are placed directly onto it. Dust all furniture regularly and remove light dirt marks using a mild soapy solution, do not use any abrasives.
