Philosophy

We love Good Design and favour Simplicity. Items must be of Good Quality, robust and pleasing to the eye to be used and loved for many years.

We don't mind if it is new or old, as it comes, or lovingly restored.

We source and design carefully selected furniture and accessories offering originality and individuality. Many items can be bespoke to suit your requirements.

Influences

Soft muted patinas of antique furniture, the uniqueness of every piece of wood, the honest simplicity of natural linen, these are some of our favourite things and they all have the characteristic of improving with age; this is the basis of our collection.

Service

We are a little old fashioned and still enjoying talking to our customers, we believe buying furniture is a big decision and we are here to help you make the right choice.

We are a small company and you will always be dealing with us not with a 'call centre'; we like it this way and I am sure you will too.

Who are we?

A small team of enthusiastic people headed up by Susie McLaren who has a wealth of experience with Furniture, Furnishings and Interior Design.

Susie brings her special expertise, as previously a Buying Controller for Liberty the beautiful London store; then having her own Interior shops and furniture painting workshop.

Susie has worked extensively as a Retail Consultant and as an Interior Designer both in the UK and Internationally.

The Internet allows us to offer our products and service to a much wider audience while living in the beautiful Sussex countryside.
